Generally, it is possible to bring a bicycle to a bus/ferry provided there is enough storage space available which is judged by the driver when boarding. A bicycle transport fee may be paid in accordance with the price list of the company operating the line in question.
Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee whether there will be enough space for your bicycle and this will largely depend on when your travel plans are. For example, if you are traveling during peak season when the buses/ferries are most often full, it is highly likely that you will not be able to bring a bicycle on board, as there is not enough storage space. It may also be required that you dismantle the bicycle and have it in a carry case for it to fit, for example in a bus hold compartment.
Please note that fast ferries usually do not allow bicycle on board. Please carefully read the information provided on your ticket as the bicycle policy is usually clearly stated there.
To get the most accurate information, we advise you to contact the company in charge for any technical information regarding their buses/ferries. You can also contact our support team who will gladly assist you in obtaining any information you require.
